Nepal Heritage Tour - 10 Days

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by Trekking Guide Teams' representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the nearby areas.

Today you will start your Nepal heritage tour, you will visit two important cultural heritage site. First you will start with Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in Nepal offering panoramic views of Kathmandu. Later you will visit Patan Durbar Square, known for its historic temples, courtyards, and traditional Newari architecture. This day highlights Nepal’s rich religious and cultural history.

Today after breakfast. you will visit Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu site in Nepal, located on the banks of the Bagmati River.

Later, you will continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest dome shaped stupas in Asia. It is important centre for Budhhism. After you return you will have free time to yourself. 

After breakfast, we will drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, famous for its beautifully preserved palaces, temples, pottery square, and traditional lifestyle. Explore local alleys, art, and historical monuments. Stay overnight in Bhaktapur to gain cultural insights on the way of life there.

Early in the morning, we will drive from Bhaktapur to Namobuddha, which is very important Buddhist pilgrimage site. It has got a very interesting story of Lord Buddha demonstrating compassion. Continue to Panauti, a traditional Newari town with ancient temples and riverside heritage. Later, drive to Dhulikhel, known for its Himalayan views and peaceful hilltop environmen

After breakfast, we will drive to Changu Narayan. The temple is believed to be the oldest temple in Nepal which is dedicated to God Vishnu. Later we will continue to Nagarkot, a popular hill station famous for sunrise and sunset views over the beautiful mountains.

Early in the morning, we will enjoy the sunrise views, have breakfast and drive towards Kathmandu. You will visit Buddhanilkantha Temple, you will see the statue of Lord Bishnu surrounded by Nags (snakes). 

Then continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a cultural hub showcasing palaces, courtyards, and temples. Return to Kathmandu for the night.

Travel to Chitwan National Park, which is situated in southern Nepal's subtropical lowlands. Before arriving to the Terai plains, the route travels through picturesque hills, small towns, and river valleys. You will be given a briefing regarding the jungle activities for the following day after checking into your hotel.

This day is all about adventure and nature. Activities include jungle safari, canoeing, bird watching, village walk, elephant breeding center visit, or cultural Tharu dance program (depending on your lodge program). Chitwan offers a chance to see rhinos, deer, crocodiles, and various bird species.

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Depending on your flight time, transfer to the international airport for your departure.
