The name Royal Trek is derived as Prince Charles and his 90 followers traveled around this way in the early eighties. This Annapurna Royal Trekking is one of the exceptional treks.
It takes you all along the rice terraces and offers you an opportunity to stroll alongside the Gurung communities lying on the north of Pokhara valley.
Plus, you will get pleasure from a cultural hodgepodge of ethnic settlements of rural areas of Nepal. Extensively, you will be rewarded by Annapurna range, Langtang Mountain including Mt. Fishtail, etc.

Overview of Annapurna Royal Trekking – 9 Day
We will begin this trek from the beautiful lakeside city-Pokhara. We pass through stunning Gurung hamlets. Also, we will drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Village passing by the flat rice fields and move on from side to side with Rakhigaon to Chautara and ascend to Brahmin settlements.
We will reach Kalikasthan which presents you with a stunning view of Pokhara valley and mountain views. Moreover, we will trek from Kalikastan to Syaklung.
We will get rewarded by the glorious vistas of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna on the way. Besides, we will also pass by diverse settlements like Thulokot, Mati Than and Naudanda.
On the way to Chisapani, we will also stroll passing the wooded area filled with rhododendron and Sal trees. Magnificently, we will observe a lot of striking peaks like Annapurna II, Himalchuli, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal etc which will enthrall anybody on earth.
Days 01: Arrival, transfer to hotel, introduction, and briefing.
After we arrive at Kathmandu International Airport. Our airport representative from Trekking Guide Team Adventure will wait for you with a play card help you to transfer to the hotel.
At the hotel, you can just relax. Plus, you will be briefed about the trek in the evening. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Days 02: Drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel at Pokhara. (B)
We will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu taking around 6 hours. En-route, we will pass over a lot of terrace farms, cities, villages and the backdrop of snow-topped peaks will follow us.
Pokhara, in fact, is the most prominent valleys set in the southern Himalayas with three attention-grabbing lakes in its region-Phewa, Begnas and Rupa.
In Pokhara, we can go for visiting the attractions of the city like Davi’s fall, Gupteshore cave, famous Fewa Lake where you can take pleasure from boating etc. Overnight in a hotel.
Days 03: Drive to Bijayapur Khola and trek to Kalikasthan. Overnight stay at a camp. (B/L/D)
We will drive from Pokhara for an hour and get to Bijayapur Village. On the way, you will drive along with the flat rice fields.
We will then make way up passing by Rakhigaon to Chautara and ascend to Brahmin settlements.
Finally, we will walk to Kalikasthan which presents you with a beautiful view of Pokhara valley and mountain views. Overnight at Kalikasthan.
Days 04: Trek to Shaklung. (B/L/D)
We will trek from Kalikastan to Syaklung on this day. Also, we will see the magnificent vistas of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna on the way.
During the Annapurna Royal Trekking, we will pass by several villages and meet with a lot of people with different cultures, languages, and ways of life.
We will also pass by different settlements like Thulokot, Mati Than and Naudanda. We will go by Naudanda to get to Syaklung, a Gurung settlement. Overnight at Syaklung.
Days 05: Trek to Chisopani & camp. (B/L/D)
We will walk further on from Syaklung and pass through several settlements where Gurung people reside.
We will also stroll passing the rhododendron and Sal forests. We will observe a lot of eye-catching peaks like Annapurna II, Himalchuli, Manasulu, Lamjung Himal, etc. which will mesmerize anybody on earth.
The undulating track will take you from side to side with quite a few teashops and after that we will climb to Chisapani.
At Chisapani, you can view the majestic vistas of Dhaulagiri on the west part of Annapurna. Overnight at Chisapani.
Days 06: Trek to Begnas/drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel. (B/L/D)
We will walk down all the way through rock-strewn steps and reach a small valley. You will then pass by striking rice fields that connect you with Rupatal.
After that, you will get to Sundare Danda and move down to Begnas Lake where you can get pleasure from boating.
You will also stroll to Begnas Bazaar. Then, you go back to Pokhara where you can enjoy the elegance of the Lakeside area. Overnight in Pokhara.
Days 07: Fly to Kathmandu. (B)
On this day, after having our breakfast we will fly from Pokhara to return to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you will return back to the hotel. At the hotel, you can just relax. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Days 08: Kathmandu city sightseeing. (B)
Today, we will have an amazing sightseeing tour to Swayambhunath (Monkey temple). It is situated on the hill and the Stupa holds Buddha’s eyes on the four sides.
We will also make a trip to Boudhanath, probably one of the largest stupas in the world. Also, we will visit Pashupatinath temple. It is at the bank of holy Bagmati River and here you can notice the cremation rituals of Hindus.
We will also walk around the beautiful Durbar Squares of Patan and Kathmandu. Here you will commonly see a number of the temple carved beautifully with amazing arts. Overnight at the hotel.
Days 09: Departure.
