FAQ

On average, the trekkers will have to trek 5 hours per day during the Everest view trek.

Everest view hotel is the most expensive hotel in the region charging around 300 USD to 400 USD per person per night.

Everest view trek is the shortest and best way to enjoy the panorama of the Himalayas. Since the trip ends with a summit to the Everest view hotel elevating at an altitude of 3962m, you will have to check yourself for altitude sickness. Other than this, the trip is best for beginners or trekkers who want to enjoy the sights of Everest.

The Everest view trek can be done throughout the year. However, the two-season Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to December) is considered to be the best time for trekking in Nepal.

The Everest view trek costs you between $700- and $900.

The base camp trek varies in between 10-20 days according to the itinerary you choose. If you choose the EBC trek with Kalapathar, it is 13-15 days program.

Insurance for EBC trek is not compulsory. However, we recommend our trekkers be insured to cover the risk of any unforeseen adversities during the trek.

Having insurance for the trek will cover the risk of baggage theft/loss, medical emergencies, flight cancellation, and many more. so get insured before you make your way to the Himalayas.

Hiring a guide and a porter is entirely upon you. However, hiring a professional guide makes the trekking quite easy. You can hire a porter if you find it hard to carry your luggage and trek. Some guides work both as a guide and a porter.

It all depends upon the policy and the insurance company you chose for your travel. While some policies only cover a few concerns/problems, others can give you coverage to greater risks including medical evacuation and rescue at times of natural calamities like avalanches and landslides.

So whenever you are choosing your policy, make sure that you choose one that covers up to the height of 6000m and offers medical evacuation service in case of any type of emergencies.
