Trekking Guide Team Adventure: Supporting Communities Beyond the Trails
Our trekking routes pass through villages, forests and valleys, and the people who live there welcome our guests as their own. We believe a trekking company owes something back to those communities.
Our CSR work is simple and practical. We look for a real need in a community we know, give what we can, and keep supporting it. Below are the initiatives we have carried out so far.
- Flash Flood Relief for Dhading, Rasuwa and Nuwakot: NPR 50,000 donated to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for families affected by the flash floods.
- Clean Drinking Water for a Village Community: NPR 42,500 contributed to build a water system in Phulkharka, Dhading.
- Supporting Hilepokhari Basic School in Dhading: NPR 60,000 for school operations and a transport endowment fund.
Flash Flood Relief for Dhading, Rasuwa and Nuwakot
At Trekking Guide Team Adventure, we understand that our duty as a Nepal-based trekking company is not just to arrange a memorable adventure in the Himalayas. We believe in standing with the mountains, villages, people, and communities of Nepal during difficult times.
In response to the devastating flash floods and related disasters in Dhading, Rasuwa, and Nuwakot, we contributed to the Government of Nepal's disaster relief efforts to support the people and communities impacted.
Our Donation to the Relief Fund
On 30 August 2026, Trekking Guide Team Adventure donated NPR 50,000 to the Government of Nepal's relief campaign, Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The contribution was made in the hope of helping the families and communities affected by the flash floods — especially in Dhading, Rasuwa, and Nuwakot — recover and rebuild.
NPR 50,000 was donated for disaster relief and recovery efforts in Nepal.

Our relationship with local communities holds particular significance for a trekking company in Nepal. Our trekking routes pass through villages, forests, valleys, and mountain communities, where local people welcome travellers from all over the world.
Dhading, Rasuwa, and Nuwakot are an integral part of Nepal's landscape and tourism system. We believe that when these communities are suffering, it is time for businesses in Nepal's tourism industry to come together and do what they can.
This is our small part — our way of supporting responsible tourism, standing by the community, and giving back to Nepal.

Clean Drinking Water for a Village Community
Our Contribution
Clean drinking water is something many of us never think about, but for a village it can decide everything from health to how a family spends its day. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work, Trekking Guide Team Adventure donated NPR 42,500 to help build a water system for the village community of Phulkharka in Dhading.

Why Water
In the hills of Nepal, villages often depend on springs and streams that are far from homes or unreliable through the year. A proper water system, with a protected source, stone-built taps and a place to collect water, means families can get clean water close to where they live.
We saw this as a practical way to give back: one project, a clear result, and something the whole community uses every day.

Giving Back to the Places We Walk Through
We are a trekking company, and our work depends on the villages and trails of Nepal. Supporting a community's most basic need is part of how we practise responsible tourism: tourism should leave the places it visits better off.
This is our small contribution, and we hope to do more in the communities that welcome our trekkers every season.
Supporting Hilepokhari Basic School in Dhading
About the School
Hilepokhari Basic School is a community school in Sukabhanjyang, Gangajamuna-5, Dhading, near Ganesh Himal and on the Ruby Valley trek. Trekkers who walk this route pass close to the school and the village it serves.
In villages like this, a school is more than a building. It keeps children learning close to home, and it is one of the few places the whole community shares. But keeping classrooms open and getting children to them every day takes steady funding, and that is where we wanted to help.
Our Support: NPR 60,000
Trekking Guide Team Adventure supported the school through two contributions:
- NPR 10,000 for school operations, including student transport
- NPR 50,000 for a transport operation endowment fund, so the service can keep running
Total support to the school: NPR 60,000.
Why Transport
For many children in the hills, the walk to school is long and the paths are steep, especially in the monsoon. Reliable transport helps children arrive, stay in class and keep up with their lessons. The endowment fund is meant to help that service continue over time rather than only for a single season.
