If you think you cannot walk 6 hours a day on a minimum, we recommend you to start with day hikes, build experience and fitness, and then join Annapurna Base Camp trekking.

The terrain is rugged, with a few steep sections. Daily, you will ascend and descend. The tracks are not flat. If you are in good health and shape, you will enjoy the trek to the fullest. The final part of the ascend also involves a manageable glacial walk. Similarly, with diverse terrain, you also have to deal with rising altitudes and different climates.

This ascend will help you better acclimatize and avoid the risk of altitude sickness. Be aware of symptoms like headache, vomiting, nausea, insomnia, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, etc.

These are the symptoms of altitude sickness. If you get these symptoms, you have to take first aid right away from your guide. By keeping yourself hydrated and maintaining your pace, you are more likely to avoid altitude sickness.
