7 Days Everest Base Camp & Helicopter Return:
This is the shortest among available packages but is ideal for those who have limited time. It is the most challenging trek to Everest than other packages.
7 days package is not best for everyone but it is for those who are fit physically and mentally. This journey takes you through different villages showing the Buddhist and Tibetan culture of Sherpa people. You will enter through Sagarmatha National Park to reach Everest Base Camp 5364m.
Everest Base Camp trek has always been a top destination for adventure lovers. You will start trekking from Lukla itself where you landed. Lukla is a beautiful Himalayan place having settlements of Rai and Sherpa people.
While heading towards this journey you will pass through beautiful Sherpa village Cheplung. Moving ahead you will cross a suspension bridge, ghat, mani stones, praying wheels and many more.
Monjo will be your first place to stay on this short trek. Tomorrow morning you will continue the journey towards Namche Bazar. It is also known as the gateway to Everest and Sherpa capital. As you move ahead following the Dudh Koshi River you will cross Sagarmatha National Park.
You will see waterfalls and glimpse of Kongde Ri 6187m as you cross a suspension bridge over roaring Dudh Koshi River. Here at Jorsalle, you need to show your trekking pass and permits. Everest Base Camp Helicopter Return 8 Days Itinerary:
It follows the same route as in 7 days but one extra day is for acclimatization in Namche Bazar.
Day 01: Flight to Lukla
There is a direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. You may also take the helicopter ride to Lukla which is one of the most thrilling airports in the world. After landing you will trek up to Phakding 2610m which will take 4 to 5 hours. The walking distance that you will cover is 8 km.
Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazar
Today you will trek to Namche Bazar from Phakding. The total distance you will cover today is 11 kilometers. You will see different tea shops and monasteries throughout this trek. Namche Bazar is at a height of 3440m.
Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar
You will rest today here at Namche Bazar because your body needs to adjust in a changing environment. As altitude increases the oxygen level decreases so it is better to adopt yourself in this environment. You will visit a few monasteries around this place and market in the late evening.
Day 04: Trek to Tengboche
Tengboche offers you the best landscape, monasteries, and hospitality at the height of 3867m. Trek to Tengboche from Namche Bazar takes you 5 to 6 hours. It covers a distance of 11 km.
Day 05: Trek to Dingboche
From Tengboche, you will trek down to Dingboche through Pangboche village. You will be enjoying Himalayan views throughout the trek. The total distance you will cover today is 12 km.
Day 06: Trek to Lobuche
You are above 4000 m, be careful and protect yourself from altitude-related sickness. Lobuche is a new destination for today. In this way to Lobuche, you will see a beautiful Lobuche peak.
Day 07: Trek to Everest Base Camp and overnight at Gorakshep
After having breakfast, you will head towards Everest Base Camp. You will stay here at Gorak Shep. It used to be the base camp earlier.
Day 08: Hike to Kala Pattar and back to Kathmandu by helicopter
From Gorakshep, you will continue to hike towards Kala Pattar. Kala Pattar is the best place to see the beautiful Mount Everest and other nearby mountains. From here you will take the helicopter back to Kathmandu directly or via Lukla.
9 Days Everest Base Camp Trek Helicopter:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
The first day of this tour begins when you arrive in Kathmandu. You will rest and later in the day go sightseeing. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site and Thamel Bazar around Kathmandu.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla and trek to Monjo
Mountain flight to Lukla is an exciting journey towards the Everest region. It is a 45 minutes flight which will take you to one of the most thrilling airports in the world. After landing you will continue your trek towards Monjo.
Day 03: Monjo to Namche Bazar and rest at Namche Bazar.
The trail you follow today is one of the beautiful trails of this trek. You will cross Dudh Koshi and various suspension bridges to move forward in these trails. There are few tea houses and lodges on the way. You will show your trek permits and continue to walk crossing the suspension bridge.
After crossing this longest and highest suspension bridge in the Khumbu region. Namche Bazar is the gateway to Everest Base Camp, you will rest here today.
Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche
After having breakfast, you will trek towards Tengboche. Trails are easy and flat, it will be a great experience to walk while viewing the mountain in front of you. It will take you 5 to 6 hours to reach Tengboche from Namche Bazar.
Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
This 12 km journey will take you from Tengboche to Dingboche. After having lunch at Solmari village, you will move ahead towards Dingboche.
Day 06: Trek to Lobuche from Dingboche
From this height of over 4000m, you may feel some altitude related issues. It is better you rest for some time and start the trek. You will experience the Himalayas near you in the clearest form.
Day 07: Trek to Gorak Shep and hike to Everest Base Camp/Kala Pattar, fly back to Lukla
Gorak Shep is standing high at the height of 5170m. You will not only trek to Gorak Shep but to Everest Base Camp itself. This is a hard and exciting trail to follow.
Kala Pattar is the most popular point to see the mighty Mount Everest. It might take you 2 hours to reach Kala Pattar from Gorak Shep. The beautiful scene of sunrise and sunset from Kala Pattar is extraordinary. From here, you can take the flight to Lukla.
Day 08: Back to Kathmandu

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Return 10 Days Itinerary:
Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Your journey towards Everest Base Camp starts from taking the flight to Lukla. This mountain flight takes you to the tour of the Everest region from above the clouds. The landscape, vegetation, and snow-capped mountains will mesmerize you.
You will land on Lukla and start trekking towards Phakding. It is an easy trail to Phakding that involves descending through the Dudh Koshi River. Walkthrough the shades of Rhododendron forest and reach beautiful settlements of Phakding.
Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar
Today you will cover the distance of 10 km, which takes you 6 to 7 hours. You will trek through traditional villages, forests and yak pastures on this journey. Entering through Sagarmatha National Park you will continue to trek towards Namche Bazar. It is the largest Sherpa village in the Khumbu region.
Day 03: Rest day at Namche and explore Namche and Syangboche
Today is acclimatization day at Namche Bazar. It is necessary because your body needs to adjust itself to the changing environment. You can use this time to explore more of the Namche Bazar. There is a school set by Sir Edmund Hillary in the Khumjung village, you can visit it. You also have a magical view of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and many more. In the late evening, you can visit the markets of Namche and buy some stuff as a gift for your family.
Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche
Tengboche has varieties to offer you. It includes the best monasteries, landscapes, hospitality, and many more. The distance you will cover today is 11 km which takes you 5 to 6 hours to reach Tengboche.
Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
The trail follows down to Pangboche village to reach Dingboche. The trail is full of natural beauty and you may also see a few animals/birds. Cross the Dudh Koshi River and few suspension bridges to reach Dingboche.
Day 06: Rest at Dingboche
Today is acclimatization day here at Dingboche, you will explore this beautiful village. This acclimatization day you have two options, either trek for Chukkung 4750m or Nangkartshang Peak 5083m.
Day 07: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche
Gentle climb towards the Pheriche valley is the starting point of this trek. While following this trail you will pass through alpine scrub and yak pastures. The trail continues toward Thokla Pass and after crossing this pass you will reach Lobuche.
Day 08: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep, hike to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorak Shep
You will trek to Gorak Shep, hike to Everest Base Camp and return back to Gorak Shep. This can be the most difficult part of Everest Base Camp Trek Helicopter Return. You require 3 hours of high altitude trek to reach a small settlement of Gorak Shep. But, reaching here is not your destination for today. You need to hike towards Everest Base Camp and return back to Gorak Shep.
Day 09: Trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Pattar and return back Lukla via Helicopter
Kala Pattar is the best place to see Mount Everest and other surrounding Himalayas. Today you will be heading towards this journey to reach Kala Pattar. You will spend a few minutes at Kala Pattar and take a helicopter ride to Lukla.
Day 10: Back in Kathmandu
After these 9 days of the trek, you will return back to Kathmandu.
12 Days Itinerary of Everest Base Camp Trek Helicopter Return:
This is one of the longest packages made available by Nepal Guide Trekking. It is for those who have at least 2 weeks’ time to explore the Everest region.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Today you will land here in Kathmandu. Representatives of Nepal Guide Trekking will take you to your respective hotels. You can rest there the whole day.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour and trek preparation
You will explore Kathmandu valley today. You will visit a few UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Pashupatinath temple is a major attraction here. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square are some of the major historical and cultural sites.
Today is also a trek preparation day. You will attend some meeting sessions with travel agencies and guides, that prepares you for an upcoming trek. Thamel is the best place to enjoy nightlife at the later of the day.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Taking this flight you will land on one of the most thrilling airports in the world. It is thrilling to experience seeing beautiful landscapes and terraces. From Lukla, you will start the trek to Phakding. While following the trail towards Phakding you see villages with Tibetan and Buddhist influence. It will take you 4 to 5 hours to reach Phakding from Lukla.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar
Namche Bazar is the largest Sherpa village in Khumbu Valley. You will see various tea shops and lodges during this trek. The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar takes you 5 to 6 hours.
Day 05: Rest at Namche Bazar and excursion to Everest View Hotel
Today you will explore the Sherpa culture, tradition and market of Namche Bazar. It is a great place to hang around and have some local dishes. You will also visit the Everest View Hotel which is one of the hotels at the highest altitude.
Day 06: Trek to Debuche
This trail consists of various spots for photography enthusiasts. Various stupas, prayer flags and mani walls enhance the beauty of this place. Debuche is a 15 minutes hike away from Tengboche. It will take you 5 to 6 hours to reach Debuche from Namche Bazar.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche from Debuche
The total distance you will cover today is 12 km. This journey is challenging as well as full of scenic beauty. You will climb up to reach the Potato field and the view of Ama Dablam from here is breathtaking. Continuing a few more hours you will reach Dingboche and have your dinner here.
Day 08: Rest at Dingboche and visit Nagarjun Hill
At this height of 4360m, it is necessary to acclimate yourself. The decreasing oxygen level can cause you trouble so it is better to stay here. You may also visit the famous Nagarjun Hill around this place.
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche
As you cross Pheriche village, you will be heading towards Lobuche. You may suffer from altitude-related problems in this part of the journey so be careful. Watch if there are any symptoms related to this because you need to walk for 5 to 6 hours to reach Lobuche.
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep, hike to Everest Base Camp and return back to Gorak Shep
Today you will reach Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp. You will trek towards 5170m and 5380m respectively which is one of the highest points of the trek. The view of Himalayas will continue to astound you as you move forward and upward.
Day 11: Hike to Kala Pattar and fly back to Kathmandu
Kala Pattar 5545m will be your destination for today. It provides you a perfect view of Mount Everest and other surrounding mountains. After spending 25 to 30 minutes in Kala Pattar you will fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Farewell and Departure
You will get proper farewell here in Kathmandu.
