The Kathmandu Valley view and the cultural trekking cost are also very reasonable, making it a perfect choice for those seeking comfort and adventure!

What to expect during the Kathmandu Valley View & Cultural trekking?

You will start the trip by arriving in Kathmandu. Spend your first day getting used to your new surroundings. The following day, you will leave Kathmandu early and drive to Sundarijal. From here, the trek starts. The trail goes through the lush hills of Shivapuri National Park and ascends to Chisapani.

Chisapani-Hike

On the way, you will pass by a Tamang village called Mulkharka. The trekking route is covered with rhododendron trees. In spring, the trail is bloomed with hundreds of rhododendrons. You will spend a night in Chisapani and wake up early the next day to witness a stunning sunrise and breathtaking stretching view of the Himalayan range, which includes 20 giant mountains.

From here, you will walk to Nagarkot. The trail ascends to Chauki Bhanjhyan and continues uphill. It soon begins to drop down and takes you to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a very famous hill station near Kathmandu. The locals absolutely love this place, which offers a quick getaway from the bustle of Kathmandu.

Enjoy a tranquil time here. The following morning, a short hike will take you to the viewpoint, from where you will witness another gorgeous sunrise and views of the Himalayan mountains, including Everest, Ganesh Himal (7,422 m/24,350 ft), Langtang Lirung (7,234 m/23,734 ft), Gaurishankar (7,134 m/23,405 ft), etc. The weather has to be clear for the view.

On the same day, you will return to Kathmandu, visiting Changu Narayan Temple on the way. Changunarayan Temple is one of the oldest temples in Nepal, and it is very significant to the locals. Inside the temple, you will see intricate architecture, centuries-old wood carvings, paintings, and sculptures. The guide will drop you off at the hotel, and the remaining day is free.

On the 5th day of your trip, you will have the opportunity to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. This guided tour will provide a deep insight into Nepalese culture, traditions, and daily life. You will also learn about Nepali history, art, and architecture, making it a truly enriching cultural experience.

Starting the tour from Monkey Temple, you will visit Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square. As this will be your last day in Kathmandu, spend the evening shopping and experiencing Kathanmdu's nightlife if you fancy it.
