Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. The drive starts around 7:30 AM. From Sundarijal, the trek starts at Chisapani. You will trek inside the Shivapuri National Park. The trail ascends and descends via lush forests. In Mulkharka, we will take a small lunch break and trek to Chisapani.

Today, we will wake up early in the morning and hike to the viewpoint to witness a gorgeous sunrise and wonderful Himalayan mountains view. After enjoying the view, have breakfast and start hiking towards Nagarkot. It will be a long hike via dusty roads and terraced fields.

In the morning, hike to the viewpoint to witness another beautiful sunrise along with a breathtaking panorama of snow-capped mountains. On a clear day, you may also get to see Mt. Everest from here.

After the hike, we will trek down to one of the oldest temples in Nepal, Changunarayan Temple. Explore the temple and drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, you can stop at Bhaktapur Durbar Square as well.

The Chisapani Nagarkot hike is an easy/moderate hike. The hiking route has uneven terrain with some steep sections. Previous hiking experience is not needed to do the Chisapani Nagarkot hiking. If you have decent fitness and good health, you can join this hike.

During the hike, you will walk 6 to 7 hours a day. Likewise, the highest point on the Chisapani Nagarkot hike is 2,210 meters (7,250 ft). Given this low altitude, you do not have to worry about altitude sickness. Keep yourself hydrated and have carbohydrate-enriched food to maintain your energy.
