Built in the 16th century, Gorkha Durbar is a historic landmark located in the Gorkha District. Elevating at an altitude of 1000m, the Gorkha palace is a remarkable example of Newari architecture and also the birthplace of Prithvi Narayan Shah, the great unifier of the Nepal Kingdom.
