Bhutan is located between India and China and referred to as the 'Land of Thunder Dragon.' It is one of the last remaining Buddhist kingdoms in the world, especially famous for its amazing Himalayan views, deep sense of peace that penetrates every valley and village, alongside landscapes with natural bliss.

Historically, Bhutan was isolated from the world until 1960s. Even now, besides tourism, Bhutan continues to focus on culture preservation along with environmental conservation. Bhutan is the only country that measures progress with Gross National Happiness rather than GDP which highlights well-being for both people and environment.
