With hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to sustainable tourism, Mr. Kabiraj Nepal built Trekking Guide Team Adventure from the ground up into one of Nepal's trusted trekking and adventure travel companies.
Born and raised in the lap of Ganesh Himal, Dhading, Mr. Nepal developed a deep appreciation for the Himalayas, nature, and the unique cultures of Nepal from an early age. Growing up surrounded by pristine mountains inspired him to dedicate his life to introducing travelers to Nepal while promoting responsible and environmentally conscious tourism.
His journey in the tourism industry began as a porter, where he worked for two years, gaining firsthand experience of life in the Himalayas and understanding the importance of teamwork, resilience, and mountain safety. He later spent eight years as a professional trekking guide, leading trekkers through Nepal's diverse landscapes and sharing the country's natural beauty, culture, and traditions with visitors from around the world.
In 2003, Mr. Nepal became a Government of Nepal Certified Trekking Guide after completing professional training through the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN). He has also completed specialized training from leading institutions, including the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) and the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP). These programs strengthened his expertise in trekking operations, mountain safety, environmental conservation, and sustainable tourism practices.
A passionate advocate of eco-tourism, Mr. Nepal believes that tourism should protect Nepal's fragile mountain ecosystems while creating meaningful economic opportunities for local communities. Under his leadership, Trekking Guide Team Adventure encourages responsible travel practices, respects local cultures, supports community-based tourism initiatives, and promotes conservation of Nepal's natural heritage for future generations.
Mr. Nepal is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to communicate effectively with international travelers and provide exceptional, personalized service to clients from across the globe.
As the Managing Director of Trekking Guide Team Adventure, he has established long-term partnerships with international travel agencies and tourism professionals. He has represented the company at renowned international travel exhibitions, including FITUR in Spain and the Thailand International Travel Fair (TITF), where he has promoted Nepal as a premier destination for trekking, cultural exploration, and sustainable adventure tourism while building strong global collaborations.
Today, Mr. Nepal continues to lead Trekking Guide Team Adventure with the same passion that inspired his journey in the Himalayas. His vision is to provide authentic, safe, and unforgettable trekking experiences while championing eco-tourism, environmental conservation, and the sustainable development of Nepal's mountain communities.
