The Everest View Panorama trek, one of the best yet relatively shorter treks falls in the Everest or Khumbu region in the north east part of Kathmandu. This Everest Panorama Trekking is less challenging than the other Everest trekking routes but it is picturesque trek, which offers exceptional sights of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Thamserku, and a lot of other snow-white peaks. You will also see rich Sherpa culture and lifestyle on the way.

To commence Everest Panorama trek, we will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip with a scenic flight over the top of the gigantic Himalayas linking Nepal and China. Also, while trekking to Namche Bazaar, we will traverse the Dudh Koshi at Benkar and get pleasure from the snowy peak scenery of Kusum Kanguru (6369m), Thamserku (6623m) etc. Likewise, we will pass through the wooded path and go across the suspension bridge above the Dudhkoshi River to get to Sanasa and after walking for some time we will arrive at hidden valley called Khumjung community, one of the main villages of the Everest region. Significantly, we can visit Tengboche Monasteries lying at the height of 3860m and this is the maximum point of the entire trek. We will walk on a rather plane trail and get an opportunity to mark the glory of splendid Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Thamserku, Khangtaiga.

This 11 days Everest Panorama Trek is particularly designed for those trekkers who has inadequate trekking holidays, however, wish to trek and catch the breathtaking sights of Mount Everest (8,848 m). The highest point you will reach during the trek is Tengboche lying at an altitude of 3860 metres and here you will notice the famous Buddhist monastery too. All in all, the Everest Panorama Trek is a great option to get to know Sherpa settlements and their culture with great peak views and therefore, is considered as a very popular destination for amateur trekkers.

 

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu Airport transfer to Hotel
You will land at Kathmandu airport, a representative from Trekking Guide Team Adventure will welcome as s/he will be waiting for you with a play card. Then you will transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley ( Swayambhunath & Boudhanath Pashupatinath Temple & Patan durbar square and over night at Kathmandu
On this day, after breakfast, we will have a noteworthy sightseeing tour to some of the artistic and historical sets enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will make a trip to Swayambhunath (Monkey temple) set on the hillock which holds Buddha’s eyes on the four sides of the stupa; Boudhanath, one of the largest on the earth occupied by a lot of monks; Pashupatinath temple, a well-known Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva and is sited on the shores of the sacred Bagmati River; and last but not the least you will go around Patan Durbar Square lying at the centre of the town of Lalitpur which attracts visitors showing up historic royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur once resided. Over night at Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla And Trek to Phakding (2610m)4hr. Overnight at tea House.
In the morning, on this day we will take a wonderful and scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2827m). We will fly on top of the gigantic Himalayas linking Nepal and China. After we reach at Lukla Airport, our caretakers will assist us hold our belongings. From Lukla we will start on trekking sliding down to the Dudh Koshi River. After that, we will take up the major track to Namche Bazaar. From Namche we will pass from side to side with the small set of Ghat (2550m). Walking further on, we will arrive at our tea house in Phakding lying at an elevation of 2610m. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5hr. Overnight at tea House.
On this day, we will hike to Namche Bazaar leaving Phakding which will take approximately 5 hours. We will first move across the river and then pass all the way through the blue pine and rhododendron wooded area. Then, we will traverse the Dudh Koshi at Benkar and get pleasure from the snowy peak scenery of Kusum Kanguru (6369m), Thamserku (6623m) etc. The path then turns quite challenging including a vertical way up to Namche Bazaar. Also, we will move across a suspension bridge to reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar hiking up to Everest view Hotel to see Mt Everest. Overnight at tea House.
On this day, we will have an acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar and let the trekkers get properly accustomed with the lofty setting. At Namche, a flourishing village sited in a great secluded concave will give you a marvelous experience. And the amazing scenes of the Khumbu peaks like Ama Dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m) and more including the great views of Everest will spellbind you. Plus, we will stroll to Thami (3810m) over the magnificent Bhote Khola River Valley. We may also visit the Sagarmatha National park to see the conserved floras and faunas. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 06: Trek Khumjung Village (37800m) 4hr. overnight at tea House.
Moving ahead from Namche bazaar, we will trek downward to Phungithanka, a small settlement with a number of teahouses. The path moves a way down passing through the wooded path and goes across the suspension bridge above the Dudhkoshi River to get to Sanasa. From here we come apart from the way to Namche and after walking for some time we will arrive at undisclosed valley called Khumjung community, one of the main villages of the Everest region. Here we will stay at monastery of Khumjung and travel around the surrounding Sherpa settlements too. Overnight at guest house.

Day 07: Trek to Tengboche Monasteries (3860m) 4hr. Overnight at tea House.
This is one of the significant days of the trek. We will move on from Khumjung Village to reach Tengboche which takes just about 4 hours. En-route, we can visit Tengboche Monasteries lying at the height of 3860m and this is the maximum point of the entire trek. We will walk on a rather plane trail and get an opportunity to mark the magnificence of splendid Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Thamserku, Khangtaiga. We may also spot wild lives like musk deer, multicolored pheasant (National bird) on the way. Overnight at guest house.

Day 08: Trek to Manjo (2835m) 5hr. Overnight at tea House.
After spending memorable moments at Tengboche and witnessing picturesque settings surrounded by gigantic Himalayan panorama, we will move ahead to Manjo walking on a trail which is easy. It is quite long walks. Also, we will pass through Namche Bazaar, which is the major trading axis for the Khumbu region with a lot of Nepalese administrators, a bank and a police check and then walking ahead we will get to Manjo. Overnight at tea house.

Day 09: Trek to Lukla (2840m)5hr. Overnight at tea House.
We will arrive at Lukla lying at an elevation of 2840m in approximately 5 hours after departing from Manjo. At Lukla we will celebrate the last part of the trek. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 10: Fly Back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Early in the morning, we will take a flight to return back to Kathmandu. After that, we will transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the day you can explore around Kathmandu if any remaining or you may go for shopping. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11: Departure Kathmandu Airport & in your country
Today is the last day in Nepal. Our representative will help you to drive to the airport for the departure hoping to see you again.

As there is poor weather condition in Lukla we always recommend you to have 2 or 3 days extra in your trip. If you have tight schedule there may be problem if the flight is cancelled or delayed.
In case of flight delayed for more than 2 days, we will divert your trip to Annapurna Base camp trek, Mount Everest flight and Kathmandu to Pokhara flight for your benefit.
Also we advise you to reserve some extra budget for Helicopter charter flights in case you need to take you back.

Trekking
Our trek will be in a very beautiful part of the Annapurna Base Camp trekking Expect to trek about 5-7 hours daily or about 10-14 kms per day. It is recommended that you prepare for the trek by suitable training such as climbing hills or stairs, jogging, and spending some time in the gym to improve your stamina for a few months prior to the trek. If you are quite fit and do sufficient training prior to arriving in Nepal the trek will be enjoyable, and it is suitable for fit people in to their early 60’s. This trek is the most popular trek for those wishing to get wonderful views of the Himalayan peaks.
A Trek is not a Mountain Climbing Trip. There are still only a few roads in Nepal extending deeply into the hills, so the only way to truly visit remote regions of the kingdom is walking. It requires more time and effort, but the rewards are also greater. Whether you begin your trek at a road head or fly into a remote mountain airstrip, a large part of it will be in the Middle Hills region at elevations between 500 and 3000 meters. While trekking you will see the great diversity of Nepal. Villages embrace many ethnic groups and cultures. The terrain changes from tropical jungle to high-glaciated peaks in only 150 km

 

Drinking Water on trek?
There are two good options for having proper drinking water during the trek. You can bring water purification tablets or fill your bottle for a nominal fee from the recognized and regulated “pure water” stations along the trek. As a last alternative you can also purchase bottled water at the lodges but this is not recommended.
It is very important that you drink at least 3 liters of pure water daily during the trek.

 

Passport and Visas Requirements: 
All clients must own a legal passport with validity of at least 6 months from the return date. Nepalese visa are issued by Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa with 15 and 30 days validity costs USD 25 and USD 40 respectively

 

Travel Insurance?
It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

 

How much money for my personal expenses?
It’s difficult to give an exact amount of money that you should bring. Costs will vary according to how much you want to spend for shopping and where and what meals (lunch& dinner) you want to eat . Only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek

 

Porters
For the trek we”ll have one porter for two person. The weight limit for the trek is 8-9 kgs per person. Before the trek we will store all our excess baggage in our Pokhara hotel and only take what we require on the trek.

Which currencies are accepted in Nepal?
Some major currencies (USD, AUD ,EURO) are accepted for both visa and in general. There are plenty of ATM’s in both Kathmandu and Pokhara and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.

 

Altitude sickness a problem?
The altitude sickness will get from 3000 meters.. But above it can cause altitude related sickness. If you have a health condition which might cause problems please consult a dMayor on the advisability of doing the trek. You have to drink everyday 3-5 liters

 

What Clothes shall I bring?
Depending on when you plan to travel it’s important to have the proper clothes and be prepared for unexpected weather. Fairly well worn hiking boots/shoes are a must! For tours between Mayember and the first two weeks of May bring a jacket suitable for zero degrees Celsius. For tours at other times please bring a jacket suitable for 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, Otherwise the daytime weather will tend to be warm or pleasant.

 

Where will I stay during the tour?
In Kathmandu we will be staying at the 3star category or a similar quality hotel. These places come highly recommended but please don’t expect a European standard of hotel. These hotels are good, clean tourist hotels and are a good quality by Nepali standards. On the trek we’ll be staying at simple lodges run by Nepali families. During the trek the bathrooms are outside the rooms and hot water is dependent on solar panels so don’t count on many warm showers.

 

What is the weather like in Nepal?
The width of Nepal is only about 200 km on an average, but within this short distance the altitude of the land rises from 60 m up to 8,848 m. Hence the weather depends upon the altitude of the place in Nepal. However, in general Nepal has four climatic seasons: Spring, summer, autumn and Winter.
Spring starts from May to May. The temperature of this season fluctuates between 20C to 30C (68F to 86F). Summer starts from Maylast to August. These are also the monsoon months with occasional evening-thunderstorms and hot temperature. Autumn starts from late Maytember and ends by Mayember. During this period, the climate is generally dry and mild with temperature fluctuating between 20C to 30C (68F to 86F). Winter starts from Mayember till Mayruary. The mornings and evenings are very cold while the afternoon is pretty sunny. The temperature during these months rises from 10C to 20C (59F to 68F). At higher altitudes it is cold during the winter months.

Passport and Visas Requirements: 
All clients must own a legal passport with validity of at least 6 months from the return date. Nepalese visa are issued by Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa with 15 and 30 days validity costs USD 25 and USD 40 respectively

 

Travel Insurance?
It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

 

How much money for my personal expenses?
It’s difficult to give an exact amount of money that you should bring. Costs will vary according to how much you want to spend for shopping and where and what meals (lunch& dinner) you want to eat . Only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek

 

Porters
For the trek we”ll have one porter for two person. The weight limit for the trek is 8-9 kgs per person. Before the trek we will store all our excess baggage in our Pokhara hotel and only take what we require on the trek.

 

Tips
Tips to the Nepali drivers, porters and guides are appreciated and appropriate. Minimum tips 50 USD.  Please tip according to your means and inspiration

Which currencies are accepted in Nepal?
Some major currencies (USD, AUD ,EURO) are accepted for both visa and in general. There are plenty of ATM’s in both Kathmandu and Pokhara and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.

 

Altitude sickness a problem?
The altitude sickness will get from 3000 meters.. But above it can cause altitude related sickness. If you have a health condition which might cause problems please consult a dMayor on the advisability of doing the trek. You have to drink everyday 3-5 liters

 

What Clothes shall I bring?
Depending on when you plan to travel it’s important to have the proper clothes and be prepared for unexpected weather. Fairly well worn hiking boots/shoes are a must! For tours between Mayember and the first two weeks of May bring a jacket suitable for zero degrees Celsius. For tours at other times please bring a jacket suitable for 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, Otherwise the daytime weather will tend to be warm or pleasant.

 

Where will I stay during the tour?
In Kathmandu we will be staying at the 3star category or a similar quality hotel. These places come highly recommended but please don’t expect a European standard of hotel. These hotels are good, clean tourist hotels and are a good quality by Nepali standards. On the trek we’ll be staying at simple lodges run by Nepali families. During the trek the bathrooms are outside the rooms and hot water is dependent on solar panels so don’t count on many warm showers.

 

What is the weather like in Nepal?
The width of Nepal is only about 200 km on an average, but within this short distance the altitude of the land rises from 60 m up to 8,848 m. Hence the weather depends upon the altitude of the place in Nepal. However, in general Nepal has four climatic seasons: Spring, summer, autumn and Winter.
Spring starts from May to May. The temperature of this season fluctuates between 20C to 30C (68F to 86F). Summer starts from Maylast to August. These are also the monsoon months with occasional evening-thunderstorms and hot temperature. Autumn starts from late Maytember and ends by Mayember. During this period, the climate is generally dry and mild with temperature fluctuating between 20C to 30C (68F to 86F). Winter starts from Mayember till Mayruary. The mornings and evenings are very cold while the afternoon is pretty sunny. The temperature during these months rises from 10C to 20C (59F to 68F). At higher altitudes it is cold during the winter months.
