Detailed Itinerary of Everest Base Camp Trek 5 Days
Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

We take a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu early in the morning. The beautiful 45 minutes trip provides us with a picturesque view of the Himalayan range of mountains. After arriving at Lukla, you can start your trekking journey of the 5 days Everest Base Camp trek.
The short trek to Phakding moves along a well-trodden path, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. After 3 hours and almost 8km of trekking, you will arrive in Phakding. We stay overnight at a lodge in Phakding.
Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche
Maximum Elevation: 3446 m
Trek duration: 6 hrs
You will start your trekking adventure from Phakding via the trail alongside the Dudh Koshi river. We pass through the rhododendron, pine, fir and rhododendron forests.
After crossing the Dudh Koshi River at Benkar, you can observe the beautiful snow-capped mountains including Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku and others from a scenic viewpoint.
The trail then turns steep and difficult towards Namche Bazaar. The walk progresses on an uphill path, and the trail turns into flat land. After a trek of some time, we arrive at a meeting point of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi river.
After crossing several suspension bridges above the river, you will arrive at Namche Bazaar. In Namche, there are many restaurants, cafes, and exploration points that is reminiscent of Thamel in Kathmandu. We stay overnight at a lodge in Namche.
Day 03: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Syangboche

Trek duration: 2-3 hours
After early morning breakfast, we start our trek to Syangboche from Namche. The trek passes through beautiful scenic traditional villages of the region.
You will arrive at the Syangboche airstrip situated at 3790m after a trek of almost an hour. You can stay overnight at the Everest View Hotel, which is the highest placed hotel in the world. Alternatively, you can spend the night at other lodges in Syanboche.
Day 04: Helicopter Ride to Everest Base Camp and Fly Back to Lukla
