The closest trekking destination from Kathmandu, Langtang valley is known as the valley of Glacial masses. The journey starting from the capital city winds off to Dhunche (2030m), the district headquarters of Rasuwa as well as the headquarters of Langtang National Park. On moving forward from Dhunche, trekkers will pass through different traditional village of the area including Deurali and Dimsa and through the dense forests of bamboo and oak, enjoying the sights of Langtang range until they reach the popular monastery of the area, Sin Gompa.
