Annapurna Region Trekking

The Annapurna Region Trekking is the moderate trekking which requires no age limit but good health of the trekkers to complete the trek. It is regarded as paradise that offers beautiful views of the mountains and wonders of nature. Also known to be natural habitat of hundreds of magnificent animals and birds, government of Nepal has declared Annapurna region as one of the conservation areas. Taking us through lush green foothills, barren of the world’s deepest Kaligandaki gorge and subtropical forest adorned with rhododendrons and other wild flowers, it showcases other unique species of flora and fauna. Trekkers can choose to make the trip a camp based (food and overnight stays in camps set-up by the trekking support crew) or a lodge based (food and overnight stays in lodges). This is regarded as an easy trek relatively, but you can see magnificent Himalayan range surrounding it. Major mountain ranges like Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range and Machhapuchhre- the most beautiful mountain of fish-tail shape seen from the city of Pokhara are seen during this trail.

 

 

Annapurna trekking covers wide range of cultural and geographical varieties and showcases every little aspects of its natural and cultural prosperity. Lifestyle and tradition of the inhabitants in Annapurna region is really fascinating. Even the remote villages in this trail offer sophisticated lodges and guest houses eagerly waiting to serve the tourists with enormous hospitality. Green paddy fields, rich forest, hot springs and glacial areas are some of the little attractions of this trekking. Major mountains and Himalaya ranges seen during this trail are Annapurna III, Annapurna II, Tilicho, Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri. Capturing the views of all these Himalayan ranges and mountains from Poonhill station is a heavenly experience. Poonhill station provides magnificent sunrise and sunset views on these mountains. Buddhist Monastry of Barga, Pilgrim town of Muktinath and natural hot spring at Tatopaani are some destinations that hold great religious values. The Cross Thorong La (5416m) is the ultimate destination that gives you the breath-taking Himalaya experience.
