It is regarded as paradise that offers beautiful views of the mountains and wonders of nature. Also known to be natural habitat of hundreds of magnificent animals and birds, government of Nepal has declared Annapurna region as one of the conservation areas. Taking us through lush green foothills, barren of the world’s deepest Kaligandaki gorge and subtropical forest adorned with rhododendrons and other wild flowers, it showcases other unique species of flora and fauna. Trekkers can choose to make the trip a camp based (food and overnight stays in camps set-up by the trekking support crew) or a lodge based (food and overnight stays in lodges). This is regarded as an easy trek relatively, but you can see magnificent Himalayan range surrounding it. Major mountain ranges like Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range and Machhapuchhre- the most beautiful mountain of fish-tail shape seen from the city of Pokhara are seen during this trail.
