Itinerary:

Day 1: Kathmandu Sightseeing

  • Altitude: 1400m
  • Tour Duration: 6-7 hours

 Monkey Temple

Starting your day with breakfast, we will visit four main UNESCO enlisted heritage sites inside the valley. Beginning with the Buddhist pilgrimage site, Swayambhunath, you will visit the residence of Royal family, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hindu pilgrimage site, Pasupatinath and lastly another Buddhist pilgrimage site Boudhanath.

 

You will get full details on the history of the heritages sites as you wander around with our guide admiring the architecture and intricately carved windows and doors of Kathmandu Durbar square and Pasupatinath. The unique white dome-shaped structure of Swayambhunath and Boudhanath is something that will amaze you at the end of the day. Visiting these heritage sites will give you insights on the cultural and traditional practice of Nepalese society.

 

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara

  • Altitude: 900m
  • Travel Distance: 201 km
  • Travel Duration: 6-7 hours

 

The scenic ride to the city of lakes, Pokhara passes with the pleasing sights of high hills, gushing Trishuli River, highway shops, and forests. As soon as you arrive to Pokhara, the heartwarming views of Annapurna ranges will certainly fascinate you. The 7-hour drive from Kathmandu finally ends with your hotel transfer.

Spending the remaining time on your own, you will spend the night in the beautiful city of Pokhara.

 

Day 3: Trek to Ulleri

  • Altitude: 2073m
  • Trekking distance: 13 km
  • Trekking Duration: 5-6 hours

 

Starting the day with an early morning breakfast, we will drive to Nayapul. Nayapul is the starting point of this trekking journey. The journey from here onwards passes through local villages, farmlands, and forests to the suspension bridge of Tikhedhunga. The journey from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri ascends to a steady climb of 3200 stone staircases.

 

Upon completing the climb, you can witness mesmerizing views of Annapurna South (7219m) and Himchuli (6441m). Overnight at teahouse

 

Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani

  • Altitude: 2860m
  • Trekking distance: 8 km
  • Trekking Duration: 4 hours

 Poonhill View Point

After early morning breakfast, we will head a step closure to the vantage point Poonhill.

 

Playing hide and seek with the Himalayas, we will pass through blossoming rhododendron forests, waterfalls and cross a few suspension bridges before we reach Nangethati.

 

After having lunch in Nangethati, we will continue our journey through the rich landscape until we reach the beautiful Gurung village Ghorepani. Upon your arrival, the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri (8167m) will welcome you at its best. Overnight in teahouse

 

Day 5: Hike to Poonhill (3210m), Trek to Tadapani

  • Altitude: 3210m
  • Trekking distance: 14 km
  • Trekking Duration: 7-8 hours

 

Let your eyes enjoy the first sights of sunrise over the mighty Himalayas as you hike to the vantage point Poonhill and find yourself amidst Annapurna ranges. After beholding the majestic moment, capturing some postcard pictures and creating enough memories, we will head back to Ghorepani to savor some delectable meals before we head towards Tadapani overnight.

 

The walk from Ghorepani to Tadapani is all about serene natural beauty. The walk continues through the blossoming rhododendron forests and waterfalls until you reach Tadapani.

 

Day 6: Trek to Ghandruk, Drive to Pokhara

  • Altitude: 2630m
  • Trekking distance: 6 km
  • Trekking Duration: 3 hours

Enjoying the glimpse of Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Nilgiri (6940m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) we will continue our walk towards the picturesque Gurung village, Ghandruk. The walk continues through the village and rich landscape until you arrive the village. The traditional Gurung village amid dramatic Himalayan ranges is one of the main attractions for the Annapurna Base camp trekkers.

 

Savor the full plate local cuisine and visit the Gurung museum to get an insight into the culture and traditions of the community. Dress in the lovely outfits and click some memorable pictures before you head back to Pokhara enjoying the sights of the typical countryside view.

 

Day 7: Paragliding and Pokhara Sightseeing

  • Altitude: 900m
  • Tour Duration: 7-8 hours

 

With an early morning breakfast, we will head to the paragliding spot. As you glide in the sky, you can get the closest encounter with the mountains and have a glimpse of the whole city just under your eye. With expert guides on your back, you can take as many photographs as you want and enjoy the view, because we know the landing will be safe no matter what. With this exhilarating experience in the sky, you will head back to your hotel room, spending the remaining day exploring the beautiful Pokhara city.

 

Beginning with amazing boating experience in the Pristine Phewa Lake, we will visit Tal Barahi Temple situated in the middle of Lake, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave, and International Mountain Museum before we make our way to the Hotel.

 

Day 8: Drive to Kathmandu

  • Altitude: 1400m
  • Travel Distance: 201 km
  • Travel Duration: 6-7 hours

 

Biding goodbyes to the mighty Himalayas, we will head back to the city of temples, Kathmandu in the morning. Following the same route, as on the 2nd day of the journey, we will continue to enjoy the sights of Himalayas, Hills, pristine river, forests, and highway settlements until we reach the capital city, Kathmandu.

➤Yes, there are two different permits that you will need during your Poonhill trek. These permits can be obtained from Nepal Tourism Board.

  • Annapurna Conservation Area Project permit cost: 30 USD per individual
  • TIMS card cost: 10 USD (If you trek through agency)
  • TIMS card cost: 20 USD (If you go by yourself)

 

4) Is there electricity to charge my camera and phone?
